Our client, a busy and friendly geo-environmental, geotechnical, and site investigation company is currently seeking a Junior to Mid-Level Geo-Environmental Engineer/Geologist to join their team. This permanent position offers the flexibility to be based in the West of England offices, West Midlands, or Milton Keynes, with opportunities for hybrid working. The role supports professional development under the supervision of a Senior Engineer, offering excellent growth opportunities within the field.Key Responsibilities:Carrying out Site Contamination Assessments from Stage 1 Tier 1 to Stage 3Conducting Site Investigations for geotechnical appraisal, infiltration testing, and combined investigations using all common techniquesMonitoring ground gases and groundwaterScheduling contamination, waste classification, and geotechnical laboratory testingWriting factual and interpretative reports, with mentorship to support improvement and progressionManaging sites efficientlyMaintaining self-motivation and time managementApplying good Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) practicesHolding a full clean driving licenceJob Requirements:The successful candidate will have an understanding of ground investigation techniques, limitations, and outcomes, as well as strong time management skills and self-motivation.
