Graduate Engineering GeologistLocation: HertfordshireSalary: 27,000 - 32,000 + benefitsAre you a recent Geology or Engineering Geology graduate looking to get your career off the ground?An exciting opportunity has become available for a Graduate Engineering Geologist to join a growing consultancy in Hertfordshire. This is a hands-on role offering a good mix of site and office-based work, giving you the chance to build experience across ground investigation, geotechnical assessment and reporting.The RoleYou will work alongside experienced engineers and geologists, getting involved in projects from initial investigation through to reporting and assessment.Your responsibilities will include:Assisting with ground investigations and site workLogging soil and rock to relevant standardsCarrying out site observations and geotechnical testingSupporting desk studies and ground assessmentsAssisting with factual and interpretative reportingReviewing and interpreting ground investigation dataLiaising with contractors and clientsSupporting senior engineers with project deliveryDeveloping your technical knowledge through training and mentoringThere will be plenty of opportunity to gain practical site experience while gradually taking on more responsibility as your skills develop.About YouThe ideal candidate will have:A degree in Geology, Engineering Geology or a related subjectA genuine interest in developing a career within geotechnical engineeringGood communication and report-writing ..... full job details .....
