Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant looking for a new opportunity in a supportive secondary school?

We are working with a well-established secondary school in Northwood seeking enthusiastic General and Subject-Specific Teaching Assistants to join their team ASAP. Previous experience working in a secondary school is essential.

The Role

• Supporting teachers in delivering engaging lessons across the secondary curriculum.
• Providing one-to-one, small-group and classroom support.
• Supporting subject-specific lessons, including English, Maths, Science and Humanities.
• Helping students stay focused, engaged and motivated.
• Supporting students'' academic progress and development.
• Promoting positive behaviour and working collaboratively with teaching staff.

The Ideal Candidate

• Previous Teaching Assistant experience in a secondary school is essential.
• Good understanding of the secondary school curriculum.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A patient, proactive and adaptable approach.
• Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
• Strong subject knowledge for subject-specific roles.
• Commitment to safeguarding and student welfare.
• Available to start ASAP and commit until July 2027.
