General Sales Manager - Yeomans Vauxhall Littlehampton

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Sales Manager or a high performing Business Manager/Sales Controller who is looking to take the next step up in their career to join us at Yeomans Vauxhall Littlehampton.

This is very much a ‘hands on’ role and requires an exceptionally talented individual to take full control of the operation of the sales department. If you are determined, motivated and thrive on consistently exceeding objectives, then this is the role for you.

You should have a minimum of 3 years sales experience from within the motor trade, a proven track record in selling and negotiating, along with an unquestionable ability to implement and run a regimented sales process in order to maximise all opportunities.

Reporting to the Franchise Director, your key responsibilities will include:

Managing the sales team on a daily basis, stacking deals and second-facing prospectsPurchasing, marketing and maintaining used vehicle stocksEnsuring the dealership meets all appropriate Vauxhall franchise standardsImplementing and maintaining sales processes within the departmentEnsuring that financial targets and customer satisfaction objectives are metHandling any customer issues or complaints in a professional and timely manner whilst identifying trends to prevent recurring issuesMonitoring and controlling sales department and dealership expenditureInstigating and encouraging staff coaching and development

The successful applicant will also have good communication skills, the ability to use their own initiative and be genuinely passionate about providing an outstanding customer experience at every opportunity.
