General Practitioner - Urgent Treatment Centre

Overview

We are looking for GPs to join the Hillingdon Urgent Treatment Centre (UTC) for evening, weekend and overnight shifts. Shift lengths negotiable from 6 to 12 hours to fit with your commitments. The UTC provides care for minor injuries and illnesses and is co-located with the Emergency Department at Hillingdon Hospital, forming part of an integrated urgent care service.Open 24/7 including bank holidays, we welcome sessional, part-time, full-time, or rotating hours with fixed shifts or in/out of hours shifts.Main duties

You will deliver care to a high standard and work with the Lead GP, Service Manager and nursing team to ensure effective overall performance of the Hillingdon UTC.Requirements

Fully qualified GP on the GMC GP registerExperience of working in UTC or a similar environmentOrganised and efficient in record keeping and paperworkExcellent time management; able to prioritise and work under pressureComputer literate and able to adapt to new clinical IT systemsClear, fluent verbal and written communicationAbility to manage a rapidly changing workload and difficult situationsAct with integrity and maintain patient focusFlexibility to work across primary health team and from rotating patternsAbility to develop and maintain effective working relationships with multi-disciplinary teamsConfidentiality and professional accountabilityDesirable

Up to date BLS/CPR certificateEvidence of continued professional development (CPD)Experience with different clinical and general IT systemsLocation and details
