General Operative (Night Shift)

Location: Cheadle, Stockport, Manchester
Start Date: Monday 3rd August 2026
Duration: Until Friday 28th August 2026
Shift Pattern: Nights – 7:00pm to 7:00am

Red Sky Personnel are currently recruiting for an experienced General Operative to join a major construction project in Cheadle, Stockport on a night shift basis.

This is an excellent opportunity to work with a well-established contractor on a short-term project, overseeing pump operations and supporting the safe and efficient running of the site.

• Oversee pump operations throughout the shift.

• Monitor equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.

• Support the site team with general operational duties as required.

• Maintain a safe working environment and follow all site procedures.

• Communicate effectively with supervisors and other site personnel.

• Valid CSCS Card

• Medium Risk Confined Space certification

• Previous construction site experience

• Reliable, punctual, and able to work 12-hour night shifts

• Strong awareness of health and safety procedures

• First Aid at Work qualification

• Slinger/Signaller certification

• Opportunity to work on a major construction project
