General Operative / Machine OperatorLocation: KingswinfordHours of work: Monday to Friday, 2:00pm - 10:00pmPay: £13.18phWe are recruiting for a General Operative/ Machine Operator for our client, a manufacturing company in Kingswinford on a permanent afternoon shift. This is a hands-on production role suited to someone with previous experience working in a manufacturing, production or machine-operating environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating machinery, handling materials, carrying out quality checks and ensuring production targets are met while maintaining high standards of health and safety.Job Duties:Operate manufacturing machinery safely and efficiently in accordance with company procedures.Set up and monitor machinery during the production process.Load raw materials and components into machinery and production equipment.Monitor production output and ensure products are manufactured to the required specification.Carry out regular quality checks and visual inspections to identify defects or damaged products.Measure and check finished products for accuracy and quality.Complete general assembly and production tasks as required.Follow production instructions, work procedures and health and safety requirements.Maintain a clean, tidy and organised workstation and production area.Handle materials and finished products safely throughout the manufacturing process.Pack, label and prepare completed products for storage or dispatch.Work to daily ..... full job details .....
