About the Opportunity Thomas Gray has been exclusively retained to appoint a General Manager for a flagship, multi-million-pound operational hub within a market-leading commercial rental and specialist accommodation group. The appointment arises following the internal promotion of the long-standing incumbent. Operating from a strategically positioned central facility, this hub serves as a critical, high-margin asset within an established national network: Commercial Scale: Full PandL responsibility for a high-performing multi-million-pound facility operating at strong regional margins. Team Structure: Broad operational oversight of yard operations, technical workshops, fleet maintenance and transport logistics, supported by an established second-tier management team. Client Base: Supplies compliant physical infrastructure and commercial assets to major infrastructure contractors, public sector framework providers and commercial clients across the South West and M4 corridor. This appointment requires an operational leader who combines commercial rigour and cost control with an energetic, visible presence on the ground. The Role As General Manager, you will hold total operational, commercial and PandL accountability for the facility.
