Overview

We have an exciting opportunity to join our stunning Malmaison Brighton hotel, as General Manager. We’re looking for a leader who understands that running a successful business isn’t just about exceeding brand standards or managing a PandL. We want someone who will look after the team, develop them, and deliver first-class service. You will be a real organiser who loves leading and motivating your team, driving the brand strategy in all elements of the business, and setting Malmaison apart as a preferred employer and destination to stay, eat and drink. You will maximise revenue by focusing on the bigger picture while managing the detail through your department managers, leading from the front to set the example.Our Malmaison Brighton hotel is perched on the waterfront and offers 73 boutique bedrooms with inviting beds, top-tier facilities, and access to Brighton’s vibrant scene. With a conservatory offering sea views, guests can enjoy dining in the Bar and Grill. This is a popular location with a strong focus on food and beverage, so we are looking for someone with prior experience managing a similar-sized hotel and operation.Responsibilities

Lead and motivate the hotel team; manage brand strategy across all aspects of the business.Maximise revenue by overseeing operations and performance through department managers; lead by example.Ensure delivery of first-class service and maintain high standards in all hotel operations.Oversee the 73-bedroom boutique property and associated facilities (FandB focus).Qualifications

Experience managing a similar-sized hotel and operation.Benefits
