General Builder / Carpenter

All works based around South London and Surrey areas We are looking for an experienced and reliable General Builder / Carpenter to join our team. The successful candidate will be confident carrying out a wide range of building and carpentry work, with a good eye for detail and a professional approach to working on residential and/or commercial projects. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who takes pride in their workmanship and can work independently as well as part of a team. Key Responsibilities General building and maintenance work First and second-fix carpentry Dorma installations Roof pitching Stud work, partitioning and timber framing Hanging doors, fitting architraves and skirting boards Roofing and basic repair work Plasterboarding and making good Fitting kitchens and other fixtures where required Carrying out repairs, alterations and refurbishments Reading and working from drawings where required Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work area Working to a high standard of quality and health and safety Requirements Previous experience as a General Builder / Carpenter Good practical building and carpentry skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Reliable, punctual and hardworking Good attention to detail Professional attitude and good communication skills Full UK driving licence would be an advantage Relevant qualifications such as NVQ/City and Guilds would be advantageous but are not essential ..... full job details .....
