The learner has been out of education for a period of time and requires a tutor who can help re-engage them with learning, build trust, and support progress towards GCSE-level outcomes in Maths and English. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on a young person''s educational journey while working within a multi-agency support framework. Student Profile The learner: Is currently in Year 11. Has been placed in residential care outside their home borough. Has experienced significant disruption to education. Requires structured, patient, and consistent support to re-engage with learning. Is known to mental health services and requires a tutor who can work sensitively alongside existing professional support. May present with behaviours that can be challenging and will require clear boundaries, strong behaviour-management skills, and a trauma-informed approach.
