Ganger / Lead Cable Puller

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Ganger / Lead Cable Puller to join a high-profile shipbuilding project. This role will involve leading a small team of cable pullers, ensuring work is carried out safely, efficiently, and in line with engineering and quality standards.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and coordinate a small team of cable pullers within a Supervisor/Chargehand''s squadBreak down daily work packs into clear, actionable tasksEnsure correct cable routing, sequencing, segregation, separation, and bend radiusInterpret and work from shipbuilding cable drawings and schematicsFollow cable routes, nodes, and installation plans accuratelyMaintain high standards of quality, safety, and productivity on siteAct as the link between Supervisors/Chargehands and the workforceProvide technical guidance and oversight to the teamRequirementsProven experience as a Cable Ganger, Lead Cable Puller, or Electrical Team LeaderStrong background in cable installation, pulling, and routingAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings and cable schematicsExperience within shipbuilding, marine, offshore, or heavy industrial environmentsGood understanding of: Cable containment systemsBend radius requirementsCable segregation and installation standardsStrong leadership and communication skillsDesirablePrevious experience in defence or MOD projectsRelevant electrical or engineering qualificationsExperience working on large-scale infrastructure or shipyard projects ..... full job details .....
