About the Role:
Our client, a prominent player in the finance industry, is seeking an FX Asset Servicing Associate to provide essential support for their Asset Servicing function. This role is critical in supervising daily tasks, ensuring accuracy, and contributing to the efficiency of operations. Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily operations within the Asset Servicing team, ensuring all tasks are completed accurately and on time.
- Monitor progress, escalate issues, and provide routine updates to management.
- Engage with stakeholders to enhance efficiency and implement necessary changes based on thorough analysis.
- Administer critical checks to ensure accuracy and mitigate risks, including managing group emails and resolving queries.
- Oversee the processing of income, redemptions, corporate actions, security conversions, and tax documentation.
- Address post-event exceptions and produce relevant management information systems (MIS) reports.
- Maintain high levels of customer service and ensure adherence to updated procedures.
- Collaborate on User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for system enhancements, creating test plans and ensuring timely completion.
- Report on management metrics, identify areas for improvement, and streamline processes.
- Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures, integrating learning into daily tasks.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience in Asset Servicing is essential.
- Strong knowledge of post-trade settlements and cash management practises.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with various stakeholders.
- Proficient in Excel with a strong ability to manipulate financial data.
- Experience in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) processes.
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying efficiencies.
- Self-motivated and collaborative, with strong negotiation skills.
