Futures Trading System Technical Support and Integration Specialist, Futures Clearing

Position Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tech Ops Specialist to oversee and maintain the daily operations of our Futures FO/MOBO trading and settlement systems. This role is critical in ensuring system performance, reliability, and seamless exchange connectivity, while providing expert support for technical issues and supporting ongoing system enhancements. The successful candidate will collaborate with internal teams, external vendors, and exchanges to deliver efficient operational support and drive continuous improvement.Key Areas of Responsibilities
Oversee daily operations of Futures FO/MOBO systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliabilityManage and maintain exchange connections, acting as the first-line contact with local exchangesLiaise with local vendors and service providers to coordinate support and issue resolutionAssist in the implementation of IT projects, system upgrades, and scheduled testing activitiesProvide hands-on system maintenance, troubleshooting, and performance fine-tuningMonitor system health and availability, responding swiftly to incidents and anomaliesDevelop and maintain automation scripts to streamline daily operations and generate customized reportsFormalize and update technical documentation, operational procedures, and user guidesCollaborate closely with cross-functional teams and external vendors to support business and technology needsHandle technical inquiries and provide timely support to internal stakeholdersPerform any other ad-hoc duties as required to support the IT functionRequirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fieldMinimum of 5 years of experience in technical operations or systems support, ideally within financial servicesIn-depth knowledge of Futures trading/settlement systems and exchange connectivity; hands on experience with platforms such as ION, FIS, TT is highly advantageousProficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell, PowerShell) for automation and reportingStrong troubleshooting skills and experience with system monitoring toolsSolid understanding of regulatory frameworks (e.g., FCA, EMIR) and their impact on system operationsExcellent communication and vendor management skills; certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certification is a plusExcellent command of English – verbal and writtenCLSA may collect personal data from you for purposes relating to your engagement with the Company, including human resource management and other business and internal / external compliance purposes.
