Creative Development
Contributes to the overall creative approach to a projectDevelops graphics, illustrations, UI elements, and other visual assets for digital, multimedia, responsive learning, and print solutionsImplements design principles to successfully communicate visual solutions for a variety of subject matterFinds creative solutions for complex layouts and compositionsMaintains a consistent look and feel for all visual assets within a given projectFollows client provided brand guidelines when applicableDoes appropriate research to support all scientific design or illustration, including consulting with the internal medical writing team and appropriate online referencesKeeps all working files and folders clean and organized as per RN standardsProvides properly compressed output files to development team as per RN standardsRegularly follows up with appropriate team members to confirm that a specific goal/task/job has been metObtains the necessary technical specifications prior to developing any assets, i.e., browser limitations, responsivity, screen dimensions, printer requirements, etc.Follows art department production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards and processesBecomes familiar with RN software engines and productivity toolsEnters and tracks own time and expenses in time accounting softwareProvides PMs with educated time estimates for a given task, proposal, or client change when applicableContributes to the company/department by proactively contributing to internal initiatives and occasionally participating in peer reviews or critique sessions
Sales Support
Collaborates with RN AMs and team members to develop graphics, illustrations, etc. for proposals and pitches
Requirements
BA/BS/BFA in graphic design, interactive design, medical illustration or equivalent/relevant experienceProficiency with
PhotoshopIllustratorAfter EffectsInDesignMicrosoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, etc.)Adobe Acrobat
