Full Stack Node.js Developer

On behalf of DWP, we are looking for a Full Stack Node.js Developer for a 12 Month (Inside IR35) hybrid contract up to 3 days per week based in Manchester, Newcastle or Blackpool. Working with DWP, you will be helping us to drive our priorities to:. Help people to move into work and support those already in work to progress, with the aim of increasing overall workforce participation. Help people to plan and save for later life, while providing a safety net for those who need it now. Provide effective, efficient, and innovative services to the millions of claimants who rely on us every day, including the most vulnerable in society. Improve experience of our services while maximising value for money for the taxpayer. As a Full Stack Node. js developer you will develop and maintain software products that make up citizen services and contribute towards their design. You will be responsible for the operational stability of the products you build and be in a position to affect change in the on-going robustness and resilience of those products. You will work within, and contribute to, the overall Software Development Lifecycle Process as part of a multi-functional Agile delivery team focused on one or more products. Technical Skills. Significant and demonstrable experience of development in open-source technologies like JavaScript, Node.js, Test-driven development alongside use of automated test frameworks.
