Internal Sales Executive - Freight ForwardingLocation: Crowthorne, BerkshireSalary: 28,000 - 32,000Hours: Monday - Friday, 09:00 - 17:30Job Type: Full-time, PermanentAn established international freight forwarding business is looking to recruit an Internal Sales Executive to join its team in Crowthorne.This is a great opportunity for someone with previous freight forwarding sales experience who enjoys pricing, customer interaction and securing new business opportunities across Air, Sea and Road Freight.The RoleWorking closely with customers, overseas partners, carriers and the operations team, you will be responsible for producing competitive freight quotations and following opportunities through from initial enquiry to shipment handover.Key responsibilities will include:Preparing competitive and accurate pricing for bids, tenders and general quotations across Air, Sea and Road FreightGenerating quotations through CargoWiseLiaising with airlines and shipping lines to obtain competitive ratesFollowing up quotations and developing opportunities with customersLiaising with UK customers and overseas partners/agentsHandling customer and pricing-related queriesPassing successfully secured shipments across to the operations team with clear instructions Internal sales role JD (2)The CandidateYou will ideally have:A minimum of 2 years sales experience within freight forwardingA good understanding of the freight forwarding industryStrong customer service and negotiation ..... full job details .....
