Freight Forwarding Coordinator

Job title: Freight Forwarding CoordinatorSalary: 32,000- 38,000 DOE Hours: Monday-Friday, 9:00am-5:30pm Location: Slough We are working with a established freight forwarding business that is looking to add two experienced members to its team.The roles will cover a variety of freight operations, including airfreight, seafreight, road freight and courier services. As part of a small team, you will have the opportunity to work across different areas of the operation while supporting colleagues when required. The business is looking for candidates with previous freight forwarding experience, ideally with exposure to one or more of these areas. The role - Freight Forwarding Coordinator: Managing day-to-day freight operationsHandling air, sea, road and courier freightCoordinating shipments from booking through to deliveryLiaising with customers, suppliers and transport providersPreparing and managing relevant freight documentationSupporting colleagues across different areas of the operationProviding a high level of customer service The ideal candidate - Freight Forwarding Coordinator: Previous experience within freight forwarding is essentialExperience across airfreight, seafreight, road freight or courier freightGood understanding of freight operations and processesOrganised with strong attention to detailGood communication and customer service skillsComfortable working within a small, collaborative team Hours: Monday-Friday, 9:00am-5:30pm Location: Office based Salary: 32,000- ..... full job details .....
