This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced freight/ logistics professional to play a key role in the day-to-day running of international logistics operations whilst contributing to the continued growth of the business. The successful Freight Forwarder will support and oversee forwarding activities on behalf of the business and its parent company, managing shipments from quotation through to invoicing and ensuring customers receive a first-class service throughout the process.As a Freight Forwarder, your responsibilities will include:Managing freight movements from initial customer enquiry through to final invoicing.Handling UK and international import and export customs formalities, including customs entries and related documentation.Preparing competitive quotations and maintaining excellent customer communication throughout the shipment lifecycle.Negotiating rates with shipping lines, hauliers and logistics providers to achieve the best commercial outcomes.Coordinating shipments across key trade lanes including ..... full job details .....
