Based from either the Romford or Potters Bar office, this is an excellent opportunity for a commercially strong Quantity Surveyor with experience across façades, cladding or the wider building-envelope sector. The successful candidate will take responsibility for the commercial management of live projects, working closely with the operational team to ensure schemes are delivered successfully and commercially. The Role As Freelance Quantity Surveyor, you will manage the commercial aspects of façade and cladding projects from procurement through to final account. Key responsibilities will include: Managing the commercial performance of façade and cladding projects. Preparing and submitting valuations and applications for payment. Managing subcontractor procurement, appointments, valuations and payments. Identifying, pricing and agreeing variations. Monitoring project costs, budgets, forecasts, margins and cash flow.
