The RoleWe are seeking a proactive and tenacious Senior Account Executive / Account Manager to join this fast-paced, high-growth agency on a freelance basis. This is a critical role for someone who is ready to hit the ground running, take ownership of key projects, and contribute to the agency''s continued success. You will be instrumental in the end-to-end delivery of creative consumer PR campaigns. Your day-to-day will involve being a point of contact for clients, managing internal and external stakeholders, and driving outstanding media results. A significant portion of your role will be focused on media relations and coverage generation, so you must be a skilled and persistent media pitcher with a deep understanding of the UK media landscape. While this is a freelance opportunity, there is a possibility of a longer-term engagement as the agency is in a rapid growth phase and consistently wins new business.
Responsibilities
Campaign Management: Deliver creative consumer PR campaigns from start to finish.
Client and Stakeholder Liaison: Serve as a point of contact for clients, managing expectations, coordinating with various stakeholders, and building strong relationships.
Media Relations and Results: Lead media sell-ins and outreach, craft pitches, and secure high-impact coverage that supports client goals.
Tactical Execution: Contribute to day-to-day campaign execution, including writing press releases, developing media lists, and monitoring coverage.
Collaborative Teamwork: Work closely with the core team to ensure campaigns are delivered seamlessly and on time.
The Person
Established Senior Account Executive or Account Manager with a proven track record in a creative consumer PR agency.
Exceptional media relations skills and a history of securing high-quality consumer brand coverage.
Go-getter with a can-do attitude who thrives in a fast-paced, autonomous environment.
Confident communicator, both written and spoken, with the ability to manage client relationships and internal stakeholders effectively.
Strategic, commercially aware, and able to balance big-picture thinking with attention to detail.
Keen to be part of a fast-growing agency and contribute to building something special.
Compensation
£200 - £250 per day (length of contract TBC)
