We are seeking a Freelance Design Manager to join a site-based team in Hackney on a high-profile new build hotel project. This 6-month contract requires an individual with proven experience in hotel schemes or complex fit-out projects, capable of managing the design process from early stages through to delivery.Responsibilities

Manage the coordination of design information between consultants, subcontractors, and site teams.Review drawings, specifications, and design packages to ensure accuracy and buildability.Chair and document design team meetings, driving progress against programme.Resolve technical issues and support the project team during construction.Ensure compliance with building regulations, client requirements, and quality standards.Report on design progress to the Project Manager and wider team.Qualifications / Requirements
