MEP Design Manager needed to join their team on a long-term contract basis. This role involves working with a focus on MEP, fire, and security systems and requires attendance at the central London office 2-3 days a week. You will report into the Design Engineering Manager and coordinate with teams from architecture and structural disciplines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Tracking RIBA Stage 3-5 design deliverables
- Performing gap analyses to ensure project completeness and compliance
- Developing package listings or Task Information Delivery Plans (TIDPs)
- Structuring project programmes using Primavera P6
- Coordinating with architectural and structural teams to ensure cohesive design integration
- Managing the design process to ensure all client requirements and specifications are met
- Providing expert advice and guidance on MEP design issues
- Overseeing the design documentation to maintain high standards of quality and accuracy
Job Requirements:
- Experience in design management with a bias towards MEP systems
- Knowledge of substation and rail sector design requirements
- Proficiency in project management software, specifically Primavera P6
- Strong analytical skills to perform effective gap analyses
- Excellent coordination and team management abilities
- Ability to develop and manage Task Information Delivery Plans (TIDPs)
- Experience in tracking and managing RIBA Stage 3-5 design deliverables
- Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with various teams
9 hour shifts with pay up to -400 a day Outside IR35
