FPandA Consultant (AI and Automation) £500 - £600 per day (Depending on experience) Job description An innovative research organisation is seeking an experienced FPandA consultant to join the team on an interim basis. This is a unique opportunity for a finance professional who enjoys combining traditional FPandA with technology, automation and AI. Alongside budgeting, forecasting and reporting, you''ll design and build tools that automate manual finance processes, improve data quality and provide better insights for decision-makers. Working closely with Finance, Data and Technology teams, you''ll play a key role in shaping how financial information is captured, analysed and reported across the organisation. Key responsibilities are as follows: Maintain and enhance financial models, forecasts and budgeting processes. Produce insightful management reporting and analysis for senior stakeholders. Design and implement automation tools that streamline finance processes and reduce manual reporting. Connect data across finance and operational systems to improve reporting accuracy and efficiency. Develop financial reporting tools, dashboards and workflow automations. Use AI and emerging technologies to improve forecasting, analysis and financial reporting. Build and document robust financial models, controls and data structures. Support wider finance transformation and continuous improvement initiatives.
