The salary is £13.40 per hour, rising to £13.90 after completion of the initial phase. Working hours alternate weekly: 07:00–15:00 in week one, then 15:00–23:00 in week two. Duties involve safely operating a counterbalance truck, loading and unloading goods, and moving stock. Applicants must hold a valid counterbalance licence and possess previous experience, alongside PPT proficiency. General warehouse support will also be required. We are recruiting an experienced Forklift Counterbalance Driver for our client’s busy warehouse in Headcorn. This is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to secure a permanent role after a successful temporary period.
Forklift Driver Key Responsibilities:

Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently.
Loading and unloading goods.
Moving stock within the warehouse.
Supporting general warehouse duties when required.

Forklift Driver Requirements:

Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence
Previous experience in a warehouse environment.
Must have your own transport due to location.
Ability to work on rotating shifts (early and late).
Reliability and good attention to detail.

Due to the rural location, candidates must drive and have access to their own vehicle.
