We are looking for a chef-standard educator who sees a kitchen not just as a place to cook, but as a sanctuary for personal growth, sensory regulation, and vocational excellence.Your ImpactIn an AP setting, the curriculum is flexible. While you will lead students toward Level 1/2 Technical Awards or GCSE Food Preparation and Nutrition, your primary goal is building relationships.What you''ll be doing:Engagement: Designing bespoke "hooks" to get disengaged learners back into the classroom.Life Skills: Teaching the essentials of nutrition, budgeting, and hygiene to students preparing for independent living.Therapeutic Practice: Using the tactile nature of food prep to support students with ADHD, ASC, and SEMH needs.Safety First: Maintaining a rigorous Health and Safety environment in a high-risk setting.RequirementsQualified Teacher Status (QTS) or QTLS is essential.Strong subject knowledge across food science, nutrition, and hospitality.Proven ..... full job details .....
