Food Safety Officer

Calling all Food Safety Officers or Environmental Health Officers!

I am looking to place a Food Safety Officer, who is searching for their next role until March 2027. The role is a Pay Per Inspection role, to support a very busy Food Safety team in Hertfordshire.-

Key Responsibilities:-

• Carry out approximately (Apply online only)-food-hygiene inspections (Category D and new/unrated premises) in line with regulatory standards
• Undertake inspections across the Hertfordshire District
• Ensure all inspections comply with the-Food-Standards Agency (FSA)-Food-Law Code of Practice
• Manage allocated workload and complete inspections within agreed timeframes

Desirable:

• Worked for a local authority within an Environmental Health team-
• Lives within Hertfordshire or willing to commute 5 days per week
• Has a UK driving license-
• Ability to manage inspections independently-
