Spend 12 months doing exactly that for the food and beverage industry, and grow your design skills while you do.The role and about youIf you re a mechanical designer with solid project experience behind you, and you want your work to go further than a single one-off job, this one is for you.You ll take process requirements, PandIDs and customer needs and turn them into practical SolidWorks designs. You ll also help shape whole equipment ranges, so your thinking gets reused rather than shelved.Day to day, you ll: Design and modify food and beverage process equipment in SolidWorks, from 3D models and assemblies through to fabrication drawingsAdapt existing designs to different capacities, processes and customers, spotting where standardisation can save time laterWork out how your equipment connects to pipework, pumps, valves, tanks, vessels, conveyors and instrumentationReview third-party designs and models, and catch issues before they reach the shop floorVisit customer and manufacturing sites to survey, measure and see how your designs fit the real worldWork with process, project and manufacturing teams, plus suppliers and fabricators You ll be a great fit if you: Are at a junior to mid-level stage, with 5-10 years of hands-on design experience and the ..... full job details .....
