About the Role

Based at Hindley Green, this FLT Operative position offers £14.41 per hour plus shift allowance and bonus potential. Working full time on a temporary to permanent basis, the successful candidate will join a global client's warehouse team across rotating day shifts, Monday to Friday, with an early finish on Fridays. Duties include operating forklift trucks safely in line with Health and Safety rules, loading and unloading vehicles and containers, and moving, stacking and storing materials in designated locations. Daily equipment checks and basic maintenance are also required, alongside accurate picking, packing and preparation of goods. Applicants should hold relevant forklift certification and demonstrate reliability, care and attention to detail.

The Company/Role
Our well-established global client is currently recruiting a number of FLT Operatives to join their team on a temporary to permanent basis. They are looking for enthusiastic, self-motivated candidates who are keen.
As the FLT Operative your duties will be:

Operate forklift trucks safely and efficiently in line with strict Health and Safety
Load and unload goods from vehicles and containers
Move, stack and store materials in designated warehouse locations
Carry out daily checks and basic maintenance of FLT equipment
Accurately pick, pack and prepare orders for dispatch
Maintain accurate stock records using warehouse management systems
Ensure goods are handled carefully to prevent damage
Meet productivity targets while maintaining high safety standards
