FLT Driver / Machine Operative

Straight Forward Recruitment Ltd is recruiting for an FLT / Machine Operative to join a busy recycling and processing site in Norwich (NR9). This role involves operating machinery and using an FLT to remove and transport 1-ton bags once filled. This is a active hands-on position within a consistent and steady-paced working environment, offering a temp-to-perm opportunityLocation: Norwich (NR9) Pay Rate: £13.50 per hourHours: Monday to Thursday: 07 00Friday: 07 00 Key Responsibilities: Operating a Counterbalance FLT to move materials and finished 1-ton bagsMonitoring the machinery to ensure smooth operationHandling and moving processed materials into bulk (1-ton) bagsRemoving and transporting filled bags using FLTCarrying out general plant and yard dutiesMaintaining a clean and safe working environmentReporting any faults or issues with machineryFollowing all health and safety procedures at all times Requirements: Valid Counterbalance FLT licence (essential)Previous experience in a manufacturing, recycling, or processing environmentExperience working with machinery or plant equipment (preferred)Comfortable with manual handling and physical workAbility to work in a dusty, noisy environment (PPE provided)Good awareness of health and safetyReliable and hardworking with a strong work ethic If you are interested in this role, please apply with your CV or contact Straight Forward Recruitment Ltd for more information. ..... full job details .....
