Fit Out Site Manager
Site Manager - Oxford
Pay: CIS / Outside IR35
Location: Oxford area (accessible from West London / Thames Valley)
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead the internal fit-out of a major infrastructure facility near Oxford. This 7-month contract involves overseeing internal packages from structural blockwork through to high-quality finishes, along with managing associated scaffolding operations.
This is a key site leadership role requiring strong subcontractor management, strict adherence to health and safety standard procedures, and a proven track record of delivering commercial or infrastructure fit-outs on schedule.
Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day site operations, ensuring safety, quality, and program schedules are met.
Oversee trade subcontractors across blockwork, internal finishes, and scaffolding work packages.
Lead site inductions, toolbox talks, and maintain comprehensive site records and RAMS.
Serve as the main point of contact for safety compliance, quality assurance, and ongoing site progress.
Coordinate material deliveries, logistics, and site access.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Site Manager on commercial fit-out, civils, or infrastructure projects.
Strong background supervising blockwork, internal finishes, and complex scaffolding setups.
Valid SMSTS, CSCS Black/Gold Card, and First Aid at Work certifications.
Strong communication skills and a decisive management style.
Willingness to travel to site daily (accessible from Oxford, Berkshire, and West London).
