Day Rate: £240.00 – £260.00 per day

About the Role

We are currently recruiting an experienced  Fire Stopping Supervisor across the Heathrow and Slough area.

This is a hands-on, end-to-end supervisory role. You will bridge the gap between active on-site installation, surveying initial works, and driving project completion and digital sign-offs to hand over compliant installations directly to the client.

Key Responsibilities

• Hands-on Installation: Installing penetration seals, ablative batts, mastic seals, collars, wraps, and compound to strict manufacturer test data and passive fire protection standards.

• Site Surveying & Scoping: Conducting initial surveys and identifying required passive fire protection measures across commercial site areas.

• Digital Compliance & Sign-Off: Logging all completed seals, photographic evidence, and QA compliance using Onetrace.

• End-to-End Delivery: Overseeing day-to-day work quality, managing snagging, completing final sign-offs, and assisting through to practical completion.

• Site Safety & Coordination: Leading toolbox talks, ensuring high site health & safety compliance, and liaising directly with main contractor project teams.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Accreditations: NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Passive Fire Protection (Blue/Gold CSCS) or FIRAS carded/accredited.

• Supervisory Credentials: Valid SSSTS or SMSTS certificate (First Aid beneficial).

• Software: Proven, hands-on experience using Onetrace for digital logging and compliance sign-offs.

• Experience: Strong background in surveying, installing, and supervising passive fire protection schemes through to project completion.
