Job Title: Fire Stopper Location: Slough / Heathrow areaDay Rate: £220.00 £230.00 per day Contract Type: Ongoing / Long-term ContractStart Date: ImmediateAbout the Role We are looking for an experienced, NVQ-qualified Fire Stopper to join an ongoing contract in the Heathrow/Slough area.You will work closely with the site supervisor across day-to-day operations assisting with initial surveys, carrying out compliant service penetration installations, and seeing works through to final handover and sign-off.Key Responsibilities Active Installation: Installing ablative batt, mastic seals, fire wraps, pipe collars, and compound mortar seals to service penetrations and linear gaps. Compliance Standards: Ensuring every seal meets FIRAS requirements and exact manufacturer test data. Survey and Prep Support: Assisting the supervisor with preliminary surveys, identifying required seals, and preparing service openings. Digital Logging: Taking clear photographic evidence and logging completed works via Onetrace for digital QA and handover. Handover and Snagging: Assisting with site snagging and final inspections to drive works across the line at project completion. Requirements and Qualifications Accreditation: NVQ Level 2 in Passive Fire Protection (Blue CSCS Card) or equivalent FIRAS-approved qualification.
