Fire Safety Surveyor

Goodman Masson is currently working with a London social housing organisation to recruit for an interim Fire Safety Surveyor. Pay - £350 - £450 per day INSIDE IR35 The Role As Fire Safety Surveyor, you will be responsible for overseeing designated fire risk assessment actions, ensuring works are completed to the required standard and within agreed timescales. You will work closely with fire safety professionals, contractors, consultants, internal asset and property teams and residents to ensure fire safety works are delivered effectively and in accordance with current legislation and standards. Key responsibilities will include: Managing designated fire risk assessment actions and monitoring progress through to completion. Ensuring fire safety works are delivered within required timescales. Liaising with relevant Fire Authorities and ensuring actions arising from Notices of Deficiencies are addressed appropriately. Assessing building defects and developing appropriate remedial proposals. Preparing detailed specifications for remedial and fire safety works. Obtaining quotations and estimates in accordance with procurement procedures. Monitoring contractor and consultant performance and reporting on progress. Carrying out pre- and post-inspections and quality control checks. Ensuring completed works meet required construction, fire safety and quality standards.
