Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital (RNOH) NHS Trust . The post holder will undertake the duties of a Fire Safety Manager and act as the lead competent person in fire related issues in accordance with NHS HTM 05-01 standards and the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005. To ensure the Trust meets its statutory and common law (Patient Care) obligations, the post holder will provide specialist fire safety advice, devise and deliver statutory safety training for Fire Safety. The FSM will lead on all matters relating to fire safety; establish and lead a fire safety management system across the organisation and build key working relationships internally and externally.Responsibilities

Lead on all matters relating to fire safety; establish and lead a fire safety management system across the organisation; build internal and external relationships.Ensure accurate fire risk assessments are kept up to date; address deficiencies; document actions.Implement projects and manage fire related initiatives as funding is allocated from the Trusts annual capital programme.Produce comprehensive reports for communicating to all levels within the Trust, including Executive Committees and the Trust Board.Provide professional safety leadership and management to ensure compliance with the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 and HTM 05-01, as far as reasonably practicable.Benefits
