Fire Safety Manager - Social Housing Greater ManchesterUp to £66,000 per annum The Role We are working with an established housing provider to appoint an experienced Group Fire Safety Manager to take a lead role in the organisation''s approach to fire safety.This is a senior position within the Building and Fire Safety function, with responsibility for providing technical leadership, managing a specialist team and ensuring fire safety arrangements remain robust across a large property portfolio. You will work closely with senior leaders, asset management, development, repairs and external partners to identify risks, strengthen compliance and continually improve fire safety standards. Responsibilities Lead and oversee the organisation''s Fire Risk Assessment programme, ensuring actions are effectively managed through to completion. Provide technical advice on fire safety legislation, regulations and best practice across the organisation. Ensure statutory inspections and fire safety checks, including fire door inspections, are completed within required timescales. Oversee fire safety audits, incident investigations and relevant statutory reporting. Develop and review fire safety policies, procedures, strategies and guidance. Produce management information and reports for senior leadership and governance groups. Deliver fire safety training, briefings and guidance to colleagues.
