Fire Safety Manager
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Fire Safety professional to take ownership of fire safety compliance across a large and diverse estate.This is a part-time position, working 22.5 hours per week across 3 days. Reporting to the Head of Works, you''ll be responsible for managing fire safety systems, overseeing specialist contractors, ensuring regulatory compliance, maintaining accurate documentation, and coordinating fire drills and training activities. Key Responsibilities: Manage fire safety compliance in line with current legislationOversee fire alarm, emergency lighting, smoke detection and firefighting equipment maintenanceCoordinate and supervise external contractors and service providersReview and maintain fire risk assessments and fire safety recordsOrganise fire drills, evacuation exercises and fire warden trainingMonitor remedial works and ensure timely completionManage fire safety budgets and compliance documentationAct as a key contact for fire-related emergencies About You: NEBOSH Fire Safety Certificate, IOSH qualification or equivalentExperience managing fire safety compliance within complex buildings or estatesStrong contractor management and organisational skillsExperience within education, heritage or listed buildings would be advantageous This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established organisation where you''ll play a pivotal role in maintaining a safe and compliant environment.If you would like to know how we will store and ..... full job details .....
