A well-established fire safety consultancy is seeking an experienced Fire Risk Assessor to join their team and support projects across Wales. The successful Fire Risk Assessor will work across a varied portfolio of residential, commercial and mixed-use properties, providing practical fire safety advice and high-quality assessments.The Fire Risk Assessor''s RoleThe appointed Fire Risk Assessor will be responsible for carrying out detailed fire risk assessments and supporting clients with clear, practical recommendations.Key responsibilities will include:Undertaking fire risk assessments across a range of building typesIdentifying fire hazards, deficiencies and areas of non-complianceReviewing means of escape, compartmentation and fire safety provisionsProducing detailed reports with clear remedial actionsAdvising clients on fire safety responsibilities and prioritiesReviewing existing fire safety documentation and proceduresLiaising with building managers, property teams and contractorsManaging site visits across Wales and surrounding areasThe Fire Risk AssessorThe successful Fire Risk Assessor will ideally have:A recognised qualification in Fire Risk Assessment or Fire SafetyPrevious experience carrying out fire risk assessments independentlyStrong knowledge of current UK fire safety legislation and guidanceExperience working across residential and commercial propertiesGood report-writing and communication skillsConfidence dealing directly with clients and ..... full job details .....
