Fire Risk Assessor

A well-established and highly regarded fire safety consultancy is looking to appoint an experienced Fire Risk Assessor to join their growing team in Bristol.

This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified Fire Risk Assessor with a Level 4 qualification to work on a varied portfolio of residential, commercial and complex buildings across Bristol and the South West.

The successful Fire Risk Assessor will benefit from a flexible working environment, a strong pipeline of projects and excellent opportunities for professional development.

• Undertake detailed fire risk assessments across residential, commercial and mixed-use properties.

• Carry out Type 1-4 fire risk assessments where competent and appropriately experienced.

• Identify fire safety deficiencies and recommend suitable remedial actions.

• Produce comprehensive, accurate fire risk assessment reports.

• Provide expert guidance on fire safety legislation and compliance.

• Liaise with property managers, building owners and key stakeholders.

• Manage assessments independently while maintaining high professional standards.

• Level 4 Diploma in Fire Risk Assessment or equivalent qualification - Essential.

• Proven experience working as a Fire Risk Assessor within a consultancy or similar environment.

• Strong understanding of the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005.

• Experience assessing complex residential or commercial properties.

• Membership of the IFSM or IFE is desirable.

• Excellent report-writing and communication skills.

• Full UK driving licence.

• -50,000 - -55,000 salary (indicative, dependent on experience).
