This is a fantastic immediately available on-going temporary opportunity for someone who understands the importance of compliance, quality workmanship, and getting the details right. Note this role offers flexibility with days and hours and can be discussed. Pay rate 260- 270 per day (depending on experience)The RoleCarry out Fire door remedial works and repairs across the Surrey/Hampshire areaRouting and adjusting doors and framesRe-hanging doorsReplacing seals, locks, closers and ironmongeryDoor and frame repairsSealing frame gaps to required standardsCompleting compliance documentation and reportsWorking in line with fire safety regulations and third-party certification requirementsThe ideal Fire Door Technician will need: Proven Fire Door Remedials experienceKnowledge of BM TRADA Accepted Repair TechniquesUnderstanding of Approved Document B and BS 8214Full UK Driving Licence essentialOwn transport and toolsDBS checkExcellent attention to detail and problem-solving skillsProfessional, customer-focused approachDesirable skills include: FIRAS or BM TRADA accreditationNVQ Level 2/3 in Passive Fire ProtectionEnhanced DBSThis role would suit someone who takes pride in their work, is reliable, and understands ..... full job details .....
