We''re partnering with a respected fire and security solutions provider in the Birmingham area to help them find a skilled Fire & Security Engineer. System Installation & Maintenance

• Install, maintain, and service fire detection systems, intruder alarms, access control, and CCTV equipment.

Diagnostics & Repairs

• Identify system faults, carry out effective troubleshooting, and complete repairs to ensure optimal performance.

Testing & Compliance

• Commission and test systems in line with industry regulations and complete the associated documentation.

Client Interaction

• Deliver excellent service, offering clear guidance to customers on system functionality, maintenance, and potential upgrades.

Regulatory Adherence & Reporting

• Make sure all work aligns with current regulations. Keep detailed logs of work carried out, including timesheets and service reports.

Technical Issue Resolution

• Manage technical challenges promptly, keeping clients informed and documenting outcomes and next steps.

Industry Experience

• Proven track record working with fire and security technologies including alarms, CCTV, access control, and intruder systems.

Technical Capability

• Strong analytical and diagnostic skills with the ability to repair and maintain a variety of systems.

Standards Knowledge

• Familiarity with British Standards for fire and security systems and relevant safety regulations.

Driving Licence

• A full UK driving licence is essential as the role involves travel to client locations.

Professional Approach

• Confident working alone or as part of a team, with a customer-focused mindset and a proactive work ethic.

• Experience with systems such as Galaxy or other major manufacturers

• Valid CSCS or ECS card

• IPAF or PASMA certification

• Exposure to both commercial and domestic installations

• Salary: -35,000 - -40,000 depending on experience

• Vehicle & Tools: Company van, mobile, and equipment provided
