Fire Alarm Service Engineer Location: London, M25 corridor, Kent, Surrey and surrounding areas, with some travel towards the South Coast Salary: Up to £40,000 basic, dependent on experience, plus commission incentive package The Role We are recruiting for a Fire Alarm Service Engineer to join an established fire and security business as its service department continues to grow. This role would suit an experienced service engineer who has a good understanding of fire alarm and emergency lighting systems and takes pride in delivering reliable, compliant work for customers. You will work across a varied portfolio of customer sites throughout London, the M25 counties, Kent and Surrey, with occasional travel towards the South Coast. You will be responsible for carrying out planned maintenance, fault finding, breakdowns and remedial works, with opportunities to develop your skills across a range of fire-related systems. Key Responsibilities Service, maintain and repair fire alarm and emergency lighting systems. Carry out planned preventative maintenance, inspections and testing. Diagnose faults, attend breakdowns and complete remedial works. Undertake occasional minor works and system improvements. Work on addressable and conventional fire alarm systems. Complete accurate service documentation and technical reports. Ensure work meets relevant industry standards, including BS 5839-1 and BS 5266-1.
