Fire Alarm Design Engineer Role and Responsibilities: Designing fire detection and fire alarm systems in accordance with BS 5839 and relevant fire safety standards Creating detailed CAD drawings, schematics, and specifications for new and existing projects Collaborating with project managers, consultants, and site teams to ensure compliant and cost-effective solutions Conducting site surveys and supporting pre-sales activities where technical input is required Ensuring all designs meet client, regulatory, and insurance requirements Preparing technical submissions, OandM documentation, and as-fitted drawings Keeping up to date with the latest technologies, regulations, and design software Supporting the commissioning and handover process when needed Fire Alarm Design Engineer Skills and Experience Required: Proficient in fire alarm design with strong knowledge of BS 5839 standards ..... full job details .....
