Are you an experienced Fire Alarm Engineer looking to move into a dedicated commissioning role, or are you already commissioning fire alarm systems and looking for a better package and local patch?

We are working with a well-established fire and life safety business seeking a Fire Alarm Commissioning Engineer to join their growing team, covering Berkshire, Surrey, West London and Hampshire.

As a Fire Alarm Commissioning Engineer, you will be responsible for the commissioning, testing and handover of fire alarm systems across a range of commercial and industrial sites.

• Commissioning and configuring fire alarm systems
• Testing and fault-finding fire detection systems
• Carrying out cause and effect testing
• Supporting project installations through to successful handover
• Completing commissioning documentation and reports
• Providing technical support to customers and project teams
• Ensuring work is completed in line with industry standards and regulations

• Previous experience working with fire alarm systems
• Proven commissioning or advanced fault-finding experience
• Strong knowledge of fire detection and life safety systems
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Excellent communication and customer-facing skills
