Leading the month-end close process, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysisPreparing group consolidations and Board Packs for senior stakeholdersManaging statutory accounts and liaising with auditors to ensure smooth audit deliveryOverseeing tax compliance (Corporation Tax, VAT, CIS) and regulatory filingsMonitoring banking covenants and supporting liquidity planning through detailed cash flow forecastingSupporting finance transformation initiatives and process improvementsCoaching and guiding cross-functional teams to foster a collaborative, high-performance cultureWhat They Want

Is a qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) with proven post-qualification experienceHas strong technical expertise in FRS 102 and experience managing external auditsIs practice-trained (ideally Big 4 or mid-tier) and has transitioned successfully into industryDemonstrates a deep understanding of tax compliance (VAT, CIS, Corporation Tax)Is confident with ERP systems and advanced Excel skillsHas experience in finance transformation or process improvementValues
