Financial Operations Manager – Payments and Reconciliations | 6-12 month Contract. Harmonic Finance | Certified B Corp is seeking a Financial Operations Manager to sit within the payments and reconciliations function. This is a 6-12 month fixed-term contract with the potential to convert to a permanent role, in a fast-growing fintech environment.Responsibilities

Own and manage the end-to-end payments and reconciliations processEnsure accurate, timely reconciliation of high-volume transactions across multiple systems and entitiesCollaborate with international partners and internal stakeholders to resolve discrepancies and improve operational efficiencyIdentify and implement process improvements and automation opportunitiesProduce and maintain robust reconciliation reporting and financial controlsCoordinate with Finance and Data teams to ensure accurate flow of transactional data into financial systemsSupport month-end close processes with reconciliation and variance analysisDemonstrate proven experience in a payments or financial operations role with a focus on reconciliationsExperience in fast-paced startup, scale-up, or SME environmentsExcellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy with large datasetsStrong communication skills with international stakeholders and partnersProficiency in Excel and financial/transactional data platformsQualifications and Skills

Previous experience in fintech or highly regulated environmentsFamiliarity with financial systems and reconciliation toolsExperience driving process improvements or automation within operationsRole Details
