Financial Controller Year-End

Interim FC (year-end)3 months£450-550 per day (inside IR35) Our client is a Media and Marketing agency who require a Interim Financial Controller to take ownership for Year-End. This is a senior stand-alone role with no direct reports and you will be required for a minimum of 3 months to support during a busy year-end period. The role will start in March 2026 (or at the latest early April 2026). You will have ownership of their up-coming audit and this involves coordinating and engaging with multiple stakeholders. As you will be working with a range of individuals in the audit planning and delivery, communication skills are key. About the RoleAs the key point of contact to the auditors, you will take lead on year-end and the following tasks: Ownership of year-end statutory accounts and corporation tax return reportingYou will be the main point of contact for the external auditorsProject manage, and co-ordination, of the year-end Audit from the offset through to completionManage the external audit - project manage the audit deliverables to ensure completed in the timeframe (by end of June)Coordination of audit queriesIdentifying key stakeholders and maintain appropriate engagement and communicationPartner with the Central Tax team for advisory supportQuality assurance and quality controlReporting year-end project progress using agreed reporting lines, templates and processesManagement of escalations to the team and CFOActively managing risks and issues: especially ..... full job details .....
