Financial ControllerAbout the RoleA broadcasting agency is looking for an experienced Financial Controller to lead the global financial operations. You will play a key role in supporting an business that must react rapidly to fast-breaking global developments, while navigating the realities of a rapidly evolving media landscape.As a core member of a small executive management team, the Financial Controller will work closely with the COO, CRO, and President, helping shape financial strategy, manage risk, and support sustainable growth during a period of significant industry change.Key Responsibilities:Leadership and Team ManagementManage and develop a finance team (currently two full-time and one part-time team members)Assess existing workflows and recommend improvements as the business growsAct as a collaborative, solutions-oriented partner to the wider management teamFinancial Control and ReportingLead the month-end close across AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Banking, and Nominal Ledger / Trial BalanceProduce monthly and quarterly management accounts, including clear narrative commentaryEnsure timely and accurate balance sheet reconciliations, highlighting risks or unexpected itemsComplete US financial accounts and support statutory reporting across jurisdictionsPlanning, KPIs and Business SupportWork with the executive team and department heads to define KPIs and report performance against themProvide ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting for Executive Management, Operations, ..... full job details .....
