Our Client based in Kettering are looking for a financial controller to join their team. As a senior accounting controller you will responsible for overseeing all financial activities, ensuring compliance, and providing financial advice to management. The role will be in ensuring accurate record keeping and compliance with accounting standards and regulations. The role will include budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning, contributing to the overall financial health of the company and will be reporting directly to the CFO. This position is a great opportunity for someone ambitious who enjoys working for a dynamic and diverse business within a role that could develop into the position of Financial Director in the near future. The role may require at times travel to Europe. Key Responsibilities: Financial Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements for the group and year end results. Compliance: Ensuring adherence to accounting standards Internal Controls: Overseeing and developing robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial records. Checking costings to ensure correct invoicing. Reconcile bank statements Budgeting and Forecasting: Managing the preparation and analysis of budgets and financial forecasts to support strategic planning and decision-making.
