As a Financial Controller in the Education sector, based in Manchester, you''ll oversee the financial health of the organisation, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and compliance. Client Details A leading education organisation located in Manchester Description Prepare and present financial reports to support strategic decision-making. Manage budgets, forecasts and financial planning processes. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting standards. Oversee and manage the accounting team to maintain accurate records. Monitor cash flow and ensure efficient financial operations. Collaborate with stakeholders to align financial goals with organisational objectives. Develop and implement financial policies and procedures. Assist with external audits and liaise with auditors as needed. Profile A successful Financial Controller should have: A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA). Strong experience in financial management and reporting. Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements. Proven ability to manage budgets and financial planning processes. Excellent communication and leadership skills.
